BHTY endeavors to adhere to a rapid turnaround of 14 days per review cycle.

To date, the average turnaround time for each cycle is 14 days.

The time to final decision depends on two factors:

  • How long it takes the author(s) to revise their manuscript.
  • How many review cycles the manuscript required until it met all the requirements of the peer reviewers.

Authors are given up to three weeks to make changes/revisions to the manuscript once peer reviewed. Should they need more time, authors are required to contact the Managing Editor, via email, with an explanation.

Yes, only if the submission is accepted for publication: The Article Processing Charge (APC) is $850.00 USD and $1050.00 USD for Special Reports, which are typically lengthier, and $450.00 USD for students currently enrolled at an academic institution. 

There is NO CHARGE for BLOG submissions.

Authors who may not be able to afford paying the APC may apply for a waiver only AFTER the submission is accepted. It is based solely on the MERITS of the paper.
