AI & Ethics Work Stream
Mission Statement
We work with industry, policy, and research partners to shape the governance foundations of emerging healthcare technologies.
Our goal is to produce authoritative, high-impact policy guidance grounded in real-world needs and informed by multidisciplinary expertise.
Drawing on BHTY’s global community of researchers, clinicians, technologists, and industry leaders, the AI & Ethics Group aims to build a collaborative platform where partners can help shape future standards, regulations, and best practices.
Core Initiatives
- Form Strategic Policy Partnerships
Collaborate with leading policy think tanks and standards-focused organizations across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and Canada to co-develop briefs, joint statements, and targeted reports. - Produce High Impact Policy Guidance

Become a Partner
We invite collaborators to contribute domain-specific insight and participate in shaping policy directives, emerging standards, and governance models.
Members gain early insight into industry trends, regulatory developments, and evolving standards, and have opportunities to shape policy direction, contribute to high-impact guidance, and collaborate with a global network of experts.
Members are expected to support policy briefs, review draft guidance, share expertise through working groups or roundtables, and help identify priority issues where ethical and governance insight is most needed.
Together, we can co-develop the frameworks and guidance needed to steer the next generation of digital healthcare technologies.
