CDHLS Charter
Mission Statement
The Coalition for Decentralized Healthcare and Life Sciences (CDHLS) unites global stakeholders from healthcare, technology, academia, and regulatory sectors to champion decentralized technologies that enhance healthcare delivery, equity, security, and global collaboration. Our mission is to develop frameworks, promote data sovereignty, and foster the responsible use of innovative technologies like blockchain, decentralizedAI, and digital assets to empower patients, streamline operations, and create transformative care solutions.
Purpose
CDHLS is dedicated to:
- Advancing decentralized healthcare technologies for a globally equitable, secure, and patient-centered healthcare ecosystem.
- Educating leaders, clinicians, and consumers to promote trust, transparency, and safe adoption of decentralized platforms.
- Facilitating cross sector collaboration to innovate and improve use and understanding in healthcare for better access, outcomes, and efficiencies worldwide.

Founders
Executive Committee: Handles operational governance and financial oversight under the umbrella of the Partners in Digital Health.

Leadership
- Advisory Board: Provides strategic oversight, guidance, and expertise. Comprised of representatives from member organizations, key stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Work stream Leads: Responsible for guiding specialized initiatives and ensuring deliverables are met within specified timelines.

Membership Requirements
All members must:
- Join at least one work stream upon entry.
- Produce tangible deliverables (e.g., white papers, frameworks, research findings) within three months of joining their assigned work stream.
- Adhere to CDHLS values, standards, and ethical guidelines.
Termination Conditions
Membership may be terminated if:
- A member fails to meet deliverable timelines or participate actively in work stream(s).
- Ethical or professional misconduct occurs.
- Financial obligations (membership fees) are not met within agreed-upon terms.
- The member’s activities conflict with the mission or values of CDHLS or the Partners in Digital Health Association.
Membership Benefits
Members gain access to:
- Opportunities to contribute to decentralized healthcare frameworks and research.
- Licensing privileges for commercial use of coalition deliverables.
- Networking events, speaking opportunities, and discounted participation in affiliated summits and symposia.
- Priority access to technical resources, assessment models, and marketing materials.
Financial Model
Membership Fees (Annual):
Non-Profit Organizations
- Small (<$100M revenue OR <100 beds): $5,000 USD
- Medium ($100M–$4.9B OR 100–1,000 beds): $25,000 USD
- Large (>$5B OR >1,000 beds): $50,000 USD
For-Profit Organizations
- Small (<$10M revenue): $5,000 USD
- Medium ($10M–$250M): $25,000 USD
- Large ($250M–$1B): $50,000 USD
- Enterprise (>$1B): $100,000 USD
Bitcoin payments are accepted.
Discounts
- Members who recruit a fully paid member within three months receive a 30% discount on their next membership renewal.
- Written articles and reports will receive a discount for publication in BHTY open access peer reviewed journal (university rate).
- Members will receive discounts to all ConV2X events and Meetups.
Programs and Initiatives
Key initiatives include:
- Global Health Innovation Partnerships: Accelerating decentralized healthcare globally.
- Decentralized Clinical Trial Network: Improving trial accessibility and diversity.
- Patient Data Empowerment Alliance: Advocating for data sovereignty.
- Capacity Building Programs: Educating clinicians, researchers, and consumers on decentralized technologies.
Deliverables
The coalition commits to:
- Establishing and certifying blockchain assurance assessment labs.
- Publishing transparency reports on decentralized healthcare performance.
- Creating practical toolkits, frameworks, and assessment models for technology understanding and adoption.
Amendments to Charter
This charter may be amended by a majority vote of the CDHLS Executive Committee, subject to ratification by the Partners in Digital Health.
